 Character Embodiment for Actors:

During her tenure at ACT, Bonita created the work of Character Embodiment (Also known as Imaginal Movement), using both the body and imagination to transform actors into a new role or character.

Bonita developed specific techniques and methods to transform both the physical and psychological states of the actor as a means of enhancing authenticity and stage presence.

She later used these same Character Embodiment exercises to transform and empower individuals in all fields to break free from old habits, inhibited posture, negative self image, and mental restraints.

From working with a writer to create truthful characters for an historical novel, to helping a business professional adopt a more robust professional persona, Bonita's practice of Character Embodiment has been wide-ranging. 

Bonita continues to work privately with actors on an individual and/or group basis to strengthen character development techniques.​
